WHAT DO WOMEN ON MISSION DO?
They plan and provide a lovely Spring Tea at Puna Baptist Church every year,
inviting many ladies to enjoy tea, delicious goodies and a blessed time of godly fellowship!
They also present a short program at the tea, sometimes with a special speaker
like the Operation Christmas Blessing Shoebox representative.
This year the Women on Mission explained to us what they do at their monthly meetings:
They read Scripture and plan their projects to bless others and uphold the cause of Christ.
They make lap blankets for Veterans, baby blankets and clothing for the hospital,
and T-shirt dresses for underprivileged girls.
They make wonderful handcrafted items and baked goods for sale at Craft and Bake Sales
to raise funds for such necessities as school supplies for poor children in Honduras,
they purchase goats to provide business opportunities for families in Africa,
and they have provided mosquito nets to families in need.
They also raise funds to help with Puna Baptist Church building projects.
They work hard, in accordance with the example of the Proverbs 31 Woman,
to be a blessing in honor of Jesus!
If you or anyone you know is interested in participating in the monthly meetings
and using your unique gifts to bless others for Jesus, please see Kerry Curley.
