What began as rock turned to rubble by much sweat and manual labor became the Pavillion footing...
The driveway bank was built up solid to hold the coming weight.
The foundation floor was poured and dried and wait we did...
for years it seemed - tents went up and tents went down - chairs and tables too,
then finally in 2017 the construction began anew:
Many many thanks to our old friend Vern,
who's been a big part of all the new building's construction
since the very beginning, more than 5 years ago -
God bless him!
Isn't it just magnificent? and we're not even done yet!
Praise God for sheet rock, paint, and shades to come,
for continued safety for all our workers, and
for that great day in the future when we will finally
christen the pavillion and dedicate it for the glory and the service of God! Amen.
Well, here we are in April already:
A woman's work is never done - yes, here is a strong lady laboring for the Lord!
Praise God, the Weatherman has been very cooperative.
Been just waiting on this inspection and that inspection - you know how that goes.
We're into drywall and siding already - it's getting exciting!
Hopefully before our five-year anniversary in this miracle of a building project, August this year,
we'll be using this pavillion just as the good Lord has willed.
He has been faithful once again to protect this latest project, to keep the materials and workers
all safely doing what they're here for - thank You, Lord!
Come back again soon to see the rest of the story as it unfolds...
June Update: Thank God for Brother Lee Strickland's dedication and expertise,
as he tackles the scary job of painting the driveway side of the pavillion's wall.
